Ring Sizing

A ring may need to be resized for a number of reasons; changes in the weather and temperature, inheriting a family ring, changes in a persons physical shape, or simply being given or gifted a ring that does not quite fit. Under any of these circumstances your ring may need to be altered so that it doesn't feel uncomfortable or get stuck on your finger. Before any work is carried out our team of craftsmen will assess each ring, check what specific work is required and we will make sure that there is no risk to the structure of the piece. We are often able to use lasers to re-join most rings so that any work carried out remains unseen to the naked eye. Estimates will always be provided if any work is required that is over and above a standard ring sizing. Although rings can differ in complexity and make up, our fees below are a guide to what you can expect (more complex jobs may differ):
